Temporary Office Equipment Checklist

Set up a temporary workspace around the work people will do, the room they will use, and the day the project must be ready.

People and workspace

Count concurrent users, instructors, and shared stations. Each selected model has a five-unit minimum. Choose portable MacBooks for people moving between rooms or iMacs for fixed desks. Confirm desk space, accessible seating, power and venue network arrangements. Name the person receiving the order and the person responsible for returning the complete inventory.

IT preparation

List required applications, versions, licenses, VPN, and authentication requirements. Confirm exact storage and accessories in the quote before committing to the workflow. Agree administrative permissions and enrollment/release requirements with your organization’s IT team. Test your normal workflow before the first training session or project day.

Project close

Ask for extensions before the agreed pickup time; availability is not guaranteed. Back up needed work and confirm it can be accessed from your permanent systems. Sign out and remove account locks and device enrollment before return. Reconcile the asset manifest, including iMac keyboards and mice.
