Bring a real sample project to the planning stage
Resolution alone does not define an editing workload. Codecs, multicam timelines, effects, plugins, external drives, and export deadlines all matter. Confirm your editing application and version, then identify the storage and peripherals the project requires. We do not promise a particular render or export speed.
- Document footage format, codecs, project size, effects, and delivery requirements.
- Confirm internal storage and whether you will supply external media and backup drives.
- List docks, adapters, card readers, monitors, audio devices, and charging requirements for the quote.
- Plan your backup and media transfer before collection; rented devices should not be the only copy.
Choosing the configuration
The MacBook Pro listing provides an M5 Pro chip and 24GB unified memory. It can be considered for mobile editing teams, subject to project-specific compatibility. For fixed editing stations, review the 24-inch iMac option and its 16GB configuration separately.
